Job description At Turning Point, we support people across the UK with Mental Health issues. As Team Leader, you'll make a real difference to people's lives as you lead on day to day operations to deliver a high quality service. Tameside Recovery Outreach Service works to help people experiencing mental health issues maintain their tenancies in the wider community and promotes social inclusion. We aim to assist service users to overcome their illness in variety of ways including one to one and group support, practical strategies to cope with symptoms, and advice and information to improve the person's ability to live independently and seek meaningful activities. Working closely with other agencies to ensure that appropriate care and risk management plans are delivered, we provide a safe and proactive service to help people recover and move on to live independently in the wider community. As Team Leader you will support the development of this service, providing line management to the team and enabling the service to meet and exceed outcomes and quality requirements that promote independence, self- management and resilience for the individuals we support. You will have oversight of referrals to the service and will work closely with a number of different providers, both statutory and non-statutory, to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users. A background in co coordinating in an environment supporting vulnerable people is essential. Experience of service planning and ensuring that services are well positioned to meet contractual requirements would also be advantageous. You will also have experience of working with people with mental health needs. You will be required to work flexibly including some evenings/weekend/shift work as required and be part of an on-call Rota.
