Brief Description
Controlling station systems and providing all kinds of information to all kinds of people, you will be more than a source of knowledge. You’ll play a part in ensuring great customer experiences and safer travel.

About the role (External)
You’ll play a central role in the day-to-day running of a station. We’ll expect you to monitor and control the station systems and provide all kinds of important information. Station users will rely on you for updates on train and station services, as well as safety and security information, via our information systems. Train operating companies and station staff will benefit from your updates on potential disruptions to services. You’ll also liaise with our Signalling Centres. All of which means you’ll be instrumental to great customer experiences and a safer railway.

Essential Criteria
· A track record of providing excellent customer service
· The ability to write and speak English fluently, with a clear and concise speaking voice
· Experience of considering and prioritising complex information when under pressure
· Experience of working effectively as part of a team
· Meet the required benchmark for application screening questions
· Must meet required online testing benchmark

Desirable Criteria
· Understanding of train operating companies services and UK railway geography
