Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and professional sales account manager, who has a track record of success to be a part of an established division with further growth plans. In this role you will be responsible for generating leads and opportunities as well as managing existing accounts within an account base across the UK for the promotion and selling of the NCC Group suite of managed security services.

Activities and responsibilities
To manage existing account relationships to increase our penetration into those identified accounts through strategic account management.
Attending client meetings and managing all aspects of the sales cycle to completion.
Researching organisations and markets to develop new areas of opportunities within the account base.
Produce strategy and business plans for an account base.
Achieving the sales target as set out by the business.
Maintain complete profitability within your designated account base.
Appropriately co-ordinate key personnel within security consulting to meet and exceed a customer’s expectation in delivering our services.
To work effectively across, pre-sales, consultancy and management personnel in the sales cycle to ensure customer management and growth targets are met.
To foster positive business relationships within security consulting with our partners, vendors and distribution network.
To maintain & present accurate sales forecasts on a monthly & quarterly basis.
Required experience

Proven experience of business to business (B2B) IT Sales.
Experience of selling to medium to large enterprises
IT literacy – understanding of typical terms used in corporate IT environments.
Researching and account planning.
Desirable experience

Experience of IT managed services or have worked in the IT security industry.
Sales cycle and pipeline management, including accurate forecasting and CRM (SalesLogix).
