What you’ll get involved in:
Your role will involve you taking direct ownership for the creative development, from briefing to production and analysis, of EMAIL, SMS and Direct Mail campaigns. You will be required to support on the delivery of continuous improvements through planning and development of robust test & control frameworks and rigorous pre and post campaign analysis leading to recommendations for campaign optimisation.
You’ll work closely with our internal planning and data teams as well as our external partners to ensure campaigns are optimised and executed to the highest possible standards.
As our Marketing Executive you will also :
• understand our customers – their needs, wants and behaviours
• be able to define, analyse and evaluate relevant and meaningful MI on a weekly and monthly basis, and produce practical recommendations for change
• work to annual budgets and re-forecasts across multiple channels that integrate into wider marketing spend
• help drive innovation, challenge the status quo and act as a customer champion to drive improvement across marketing activities
Our Ideal Marketing Executive:
This is a perfect role for an ambitious marketing executive who is looking to make an impact in a growing team. You’ll already have some direct marketing experience under your belt and will hopefully have worked in financial services before. Ideally you’ll have a degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing or Business Studies.
You:
• Have previous experience of working within a marketing function, with a working knowledge of Direct Marketing
• May have experience as a Campaign manager
• Are a pro-active self-starter who is driven and motivated to identify opportunities and is prepared to get stuck in
• Are an effective communicator, both written and verbal with the ability to prepare business cases
• Have a good eye for detail
• Have strong organisational and analytical skills
• Are able to build key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through effective communication
• Are able to assess campaign performance as well as interpret customer and market data
• Have strong problem solving skills
• Have excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Have a good awareness of the requirements of working in a regulated environment (a good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance framework would be an advantage)
