Key tasks
The Sales Office Manager plays a key role in the achievement of the hotel sales and profit targets. In this role you are responsible for the operations of the Sales Office team which comprises of Reservations (individual & groups) and Conference/Events sales.
The Key Objectives Of The Role Are As Follows
Overseeing the day to day operations of the sales office team comprising of reservations and conference sales team (3 talents)
Overseeing the correct handling of all booking enquiries (groups and Mice)
Ensuring good communication with other departments
Training and coaching the team to have the right sales approach and target oriented culture
Developing and implementing a proactive sales strategy focused on increasing MICE, Groups and Local corporate business.
Actively prospecting the local area to drive new business to the hotel
Networking and developing the image and awareness of the hotel
Animating local and national accounts through Fam visits, showrounds etc.
Working closely with the Accor Regional and National Sales Managers
