We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated computer vision expert capable of driving forward technically demanding projects and having the flexibility and communication skills to operate effectively within a high calibre team.

Our technology allows us to provide detailed anatomical information for surgical procedure design and execution, and to undertake powerful clinical trials

Key Activities & Accountabilities

Independently design and implement robust algorithms and software components to support statistical modelling and machine learning techniques in segmentation, landmarking, reconstruction of missing anatomy, surgical planning, and disease classification.
Proactively ensure robust application of these techniques to anatomy and surgery specific systems with input from surgical and engineering team experts.
Proactively solve problems and conduct root cause analysis on these techniques.
Evaluation of these techniques on large datasets.
Effectively drive forward projects within a multifunctional and multinational team.
Provide subject matter expertise to engineers and technicians within the organisation

Job Requirements
Education

Highly numerate undergraduate degree.
PhD in computer vision, or in a another highly numerate discipline with industrial or post doctoral experience in computer vision.

Experience

Experience of the following would be highly desirable:
Human anatomy and medical technology applications
3D medical imaging
Modern machine learning e.g. deep learning
Extensive experience in the development and delivery of computer vision software on large real world datasets.
Deep understanding of programming, preferably in C++.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve in a technically challenging area.
Demonstrated drive to deliver high quality results on time and in a professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence others, and to manage professional relationships.
