DevOps Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. Reporting into the Senior AWS Architect you will ensure the availability, security and operational suitability of all Intechnica technical environments.

Operating within Intechnica security policies you will help identify service improvements, new technology and improved monitoring. Acting as domain expert in customer interactions where technical consultation is required and providing incident support for our Traffic Defender product with other team members.

Requirements:
Required

4+ years within a Linux Systems Administrator position – server installation and configuration.
Knowledge of scripting – Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby.
Knowledge of cloud (AWS) and large scale systems.
Passionate about infrastructure automation and configuration (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins).
Passionate about cloud technologies (AWS Specific).
Experience of diagnosing at all levels within systems e.g. Infrastructure, OS platform and Server platform

Desirable

A degree in Computer Science/software development, which has involved significant, hands on experience with programming and software engineering principles.
High performance and high availability systems are our specialty therefore some experience in these areas would be advantageous.
Interest in Agile methodologies
Low level network knowledge
